It is a universal method used to test the physical properties of products in the world. It is very important to control the quality of superhard abrasives, to classify their varieties, brands and to manufacture abrasives. Therefore, the measurement of the bulk density of superhard abrasive has been paid more and more attention in China. According to the new international regulations, the packing density shall be inspected in accordance with the provisions of jb3584-84 "method for determination of the packing density of superhard Abrasives".
The bulk density of the title of each variety shall meet the following requirements:
RVD:1.35~1.70g/cm³
MBD not less than: 1.85g/cm3
SMD not less than: 1.9570g/cm
DMD not less than: 2.1070g/cm
When the crystal is the most irregular shape, the stacking specific gravity is the smallest, the closer the shape is to the sphere, the larger the stacking specific gravity is, the wider the particle size range is, and the larger the stacking specific gravity is.
For example, the larger the stacking proportion of a certain diamond particle group, the more regular the diamond shape is, the higher the isomorphic proportion is, and the higher the strength is generally; on the contrary, if the stacking proportion is low and unstable, the worse the diamond performance is.
